"In 1964, I received my first gold medal from the Boston Art Directors Club. As a young artist starting out his career with strong feelings to make a mark, yet somewhat insecure with the work that I had done, that award was greatly encouraging. Over the years, I have had the good fortune to have my work recognized by a variety of national and international organizations."
